WCHS has partnered with local Dog Trainer Noel Hoffmann to offer a once a month
Educational Hour to address common behavioral issues that many dog owners
encounter. Through a better understanding of dogs as a species, we can
better understand their behavior. Our goal at WCHS is to find homes for dogs
who need them and then to keep them there.

Some of the topics that will be discussed are:
- How Dogs Experience the world.
- The Fundamental needs of dogs.
- The Importance of Socialization and Training.
- The Special needs of rescue dogs.
- Common Behavioral issues. What is normal and what is not.
- Dogs and the Law, Responsibilities and Consequences.
Noel Hoffmann has multiple certifications and has been training dogs for over
twenty years. She lives in Westminster, VT www.noelhoffmann.com

*This hour is educational and cannot address individual, behavioral issues in
dogs.
