We want to thank the folks at WCHS for allowing our family to sit down and meet puppies and dogs for an entire day. We were able to find the right fit for us without pressure. Duke has already grown so much in the first month! He is crate trained, can sit and shake on command, and is still working on potty training. He jumps in the bathtub and pool without hesitation, and loves to snuggle. What a great little dude!
Hi Eric, On 2/24 we adopted Oatmeal from your facility. I wanted to send you a quick update, and hope you’ll share this email and pictures with your staff! We did rename Oatmeal, so her forever name is now Abby, and she is an absolute LOVE! She has transitioned beautifully into our home and into our lives! She is loved so much here, and has shown so much love back! I wanted to send a few pics recently taken during our daily trip to the park! She loves to run, play ball, walk on trails, and just car rides in general! We recently discovered that she loves snow, too! We want to thank all of you again for bringing Abby(Oatmeal) into our lives! She has found her forever home, and we have found our perfect fur baby!
Just wanted to share a photo with WCHS of my very special boy Wickford, aka Abbu.
Recently he has been by my side constantly including following me to the shower, however I found a way to keep him occupied while I do my morning routine. He is definitely my boy. We all love him a great deal
Many people think that a shelter is a sad place to be. Having worked at the Windham County Humane Society for almost 10 years now, I can say that days filled with joy and laughter far outweigh the rough days.
