Visit Us and Our Adoptable Pets

WCHS welcomes visitors, whether you are looking for a pet to adopt, interested in volunteering, or “just visiting” our wonderful animals.

Meeting Our Dogs

Information on all dogs available for adoption is posted on the “Meet Our Dogs” bulletin board in our reception area. If you see a dog you would like to meet, just let a staff member know and we will bring the dog to meet you. Meeting in a quiet space is less stressful for the dog and the visitor! See our available dog listings online.

Meeting Our Cats

Visitors are invited to meet and play with cats in our cat rooms.

WCHS often has rabbits, ferrets, birds and other small animals available for adoption. Visitors are welcome to visit these animals in our reception area. See our available cat listings online.

Group visits and tours

WCHS welcomes school and community groups. If you are interested in a guided tour, please call 802-254-2232 or email info@windhamcountyhumane.org to schedule a date and time.

We look forward to your visit!
