Community Companions
If you don’t have time to make a regular commitment to volunteering at WCHS but still want to help, there are still many activities you can do on your own. Or, you can play a role in one of our many events.
Our Community Companions program is currently at capacity. We are not accepting new applications at the present time. Please check back in November.
Coin Can Collection
We need volunteers who are willing to drive to several local locations once a month to collect cans in the following towns: Bellows Falls, Bondville, Brattleboro, Brookline, Marlboro, Townshend, West Brattleboro, West Dover, Wilmington.
Posters
Help spread the word about what is happening at WCHS by scouting out community bulletin board space and adding our flyers.
This is a monthly task, requiring a few hours in travel and time.
Tag/Yard Sale
Consider holding a yard sale with proceeds going towards the shelter dogs and cats. If you are interested in hosting a yard sale, we also have items we can contribute and will help spread the word about your tag-sale-for-good!
Event FUN-Raisers
We always need ‘one-off’ help for various events such as the Annual Walk for Animals, Food Drives, Pet Remembrance Night and more. We post calls for help on our social media as well as send out emails to our volunteer list.
